About

The student meeting is a special event for students doing their theses related to the DES-Testbed. Content varies from meeting to meeting: status reports from theses, reports from conferences, status of research projects, etc.

Everyone is invited to join and to experience how we manage and organize theses. One of our primary goals is to keep in touch with each student. In addition to a personal supervisor every student can make use of this event to get support from all participating members of the CST research group - and of course all other students.

We offer a variety of thesis topics related to wireless mesh networks and wireless sensor networks. If you want to do your thesis with us, just attend the meeting. We will discuss our open topics, your personal preferences, and areas of interest. In the end we will come up with a topic that is of interest for all of us.

There is a mailing list for discussion of related stuff.

Schedule

Students have to give some talks about their thesis work. We have got two time slots per meeting. If you want to reserve a slot, notify your advisor.

We meet every week even if there is no talk!

Please prepare a handout for your 4th talk! A printout of the slides will be sufficient to make some notes. If you have no laptop for the presentation, notify your advisor several days beforehand.
