I worked on the project 2009-2010 writing my diploma thesis about routing metrics for future use and testing.Wireless Mesh Networks are gaining considerable popularity due to fact of the rising interest in that research area. Routing protocols that consider certain metrics are necessary in this enviroment to have effective results in terms of bandwith, latency and performance of the communication between the participants in a wireles mesh network. In the need of further research of these routing metrics my work evaluates and compares the available routing protocols for the WLAN Mesh network of the DES-Testbed.
